Bottle Gentian

$34.00

Bottle Gentians (Gentiana andrewsii) are native to North America and are often found in moist to wet habitats, including meadows, marshes, and along stream banks. The flowers bloom later in the growing season, typically from late summer to early fall. This timing allows it to avoid competition with other early-blooming wildflowers. The closed flowers protect the reproductive parts from some pollinators, allowing Bumblebees to be the primary pollinators of Bottle Gentians.
