Costa's Hummingbird

$34.00

Costa’s Hummingbirds (Calypte costae) are well adapted to the climate of the Mojave and Sonoran deserts. Their normal resting heart rate of 500-900 beats per minute will fall to just 50 beats per minute when nightime temperatures drop. To sustain their energy they must visit over 1,800 flowers each day!

Here are a few of our favorite coordinating semisolids: Starfish Iris Purple, Agama Lizard Blue, Pike Green, Hummingbird Blue, Dark Gray, Cohosh Blue
