Iridescent Goethite

$34.00

Goethite is a mineral usually formed by the weathering of other iron-rich minerals. It is a common component in soils across the globe and has even been found in a Martian crater! Fun fact: the teeth of limpets (aquatic snails) are made up of mostly goethite fibers and exhibit extreme tensile strength.
